Aleyamma Kurian was born on May 6, 1946 in Venkurinji, Mukkootuthara, Kerala, India. She entered into eternal peace at the age of 75 on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Aleyamma was born the second daughter to the late Chacko Issac and Mariamma Issac. She is the sister of Kunjuamma (late), Ittykunju (late), Pennamma and Leelamma. Aleyamma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Georgekutty, her son Steeve, his wife Renjitha, their children Ethan and Sofia and their furbabies Lola and Nico.

She was the first of her family to come to the US in 1974. She worked for over 40 years at various hospitals including Parkway, Parkview and City of Houston as a Registered Nurse and then later as a Director. She enjoyed spending her free time socializing, swimming at the YMCA, attending church functions, traveling and spoiling her grandkids. She'll be missed most for the love and affection she showed her grandkids, the bottomless pit of candy she always kept in her purse and her unique cooking skills.
