Alexander (Alex) Julian Murillo born on December 28, 2008, was granted his angel wings and went with the Lord on September 23, 2018.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, he passed away peacefully. He shared his last moments surrounded with his beloved family. After a long hard-fought battle with Cancer for years, his body took rest.

His purpose in life was fulfilled. In such a short-lived life, Alex touched so many people. Those who knew Alex know that he brought friends and families together. He would light up the room with his contagious smile, made people laugh with his witty comments and smart questions.

He was a sweet child with aspirations like any other kids his age. However, opposed to other kids, he liked school and couldn't wait to go back. He wanted to be a scientist when he grew up. He loved monster trucks and never missed a Monster Jam Show. You just knew he was playing with his trucks as you could hear him from the other side of the house – making loud truck noises (vroom, vroom, vroom…). He was also an avid football fan. His favorite football team was the Houston Texans and favorite player was JJ Watt. He loved keeping up with the NFL and could talk for hours about players, favorites to win games, and fantasy football.

Alex is survived by his loving parents Flor and Hermilo Murillo, brother Adrian Murillo, paternal grandparents Graciela and Jose Hermilo Murillo, maternal grandmother Norma Moran, 6 aunts, 5 uncles, and several cousins.
