Obituary

Alexander Michael Montgomery was called our "Miracle Baby" and was born on February 22, 1993, to Carroll (Monty) Montgomery, Jr. and Karen Christine Montgomery and in-tow were his two older siblings, Jacob and Christine. You see, Alexander was conceived in a private room at Texas Children's Hospital in downtown Houston, while his loving parents watched over his older brother, whom was very sick. When Alexander was 1-1/2 years old (and Christine was 6 years old),  so  his "Bubba" (Jacob – 10-1/2 years old) left us and went to Heaven. And it may have been Christine later on, that recognized and made public, that our "Miracle Baby", Alexander would give us a purpose to carry on living.

He would later in life, be called, "Our a strong-willed Child" (Dr. James Dobson), "Our Exhausting Joy" (coined by Karen), "Buggy", "Bugs", "Alex", "A-mont", etc., just to name a few, and to highlight who he was. Alexander would become one of the most loved people that walked earth, for so, so many reasons. Whether it was his handsome-looks, his gentle sweet spirit, his tenacity and passion that drove him to tackle any challenge, his generosity, his intellectual mind, his compassion, his wit, his humor, and on and on, ever single-person he "touched in life" has shared a common denominator. That there had never been, nor ever will be, another Alexander Michael Montgomery, as he was "Larger Than Life".

Almost everyone that reads this, already knows that Alexander had enough love to go around for everyone and this surplus of love allowed the special, unique bond to go unrivaled with his Mom (Karen), Sissy (Christine) and Dad (Monty). And no doubt, this list could go on forever. And then one day, Miss Mallory Paige Neal walked into his life, swept him off his feet and knocked him silly and he fell in love with her and they were married after Alexander graduated "Summa Cum Laude" from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering.

Alexander had settled into a wonderful life being married to his "Soul Mate", Mallory, and had a phenomenal career in the Oil & Gas Industry, involved in the Directional Drilling Sector, an unrelenting passion of his, working for Dixon Directional. He had everything that a young professional at age 29 could want.

And then, so sadly, Buggy was gone. His life on earth was taken from him and all of us on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 1:26 PM CDT in Tomball, TX, from a careless 18-year old driver. There will NEVER be another Alexander Michael Montgomery NOR anyone that will ever come close to "filling his shoes". He will be in our hearts, minds, spirits and souls forever and will NEVER be forgotten. For, "Giants" live on in infamy and we are just beginning to learn the incredible impact, influence and governance, that he has had on this world.

Alexander Michael Montgomery is survived by his Wife, Mallory Montgomery, his Mom, Karen Montgomery, his Sister, Christine Halstead, his Dad, Monty Montgomery, his four Nieces, Dallas Faith, Skylynn, Braelyn, and Isabella, his two Nephews, Hendrix and Gregory Michael III, and many more beloved family and friends.
