Alberta Herrera Maldonado was born in Huetamo, Mexico on April 8, 1957, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on January 25, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her father, Eufracio Herrera.

Alberta is survived by her children, Javier Maldonado and wife Maria, Fabian Maldonado and wife Mileydi, Carmen Maldonado and husband Max, Norma Maldonado and husband Bill, Marisol Ramirez and husband Ramon, Ariel Maldonado and partner Colin; and Abraham Herrera and wife Angie; grandchildren, Andrew, Julian, Alyssa, Desiree, Diego, Zoe, Ella, Dylan, Naila, Nadeem, Naveed, Reanna, Rebecka, Kylani, Destiny,  Sthephany, Johanna, and Angelo; great-grandchildren, Luca, Emery, and Joshua; her mother, Maria Del Carmen Hernandez Patino; siblings, Antonio, Victoria, Erika, Brigida, Maria De Jesus, Carmen, and Carlos; and grand fur babies, Bella, Mateo, Miles, Mercy, Gracie, Louie, Vinnie, Honey, and Lulu.
