Albert Lee Furnace went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2022.  Albert was born Dec ember 28,1930 , in Manvel , Texas. He graduated from Alvin High School and m arried his Junior High School sweetheart Pauline Marie Plaster on November 1 3, 1948. Albert was a 1952 graduate and Corps member of Texas A&M University and remained a huge supporter of the Aggies his entire life.  After graduation , Al and Pauline settled in Cypress, Texas where they raised their family, and he managed the Josey Ranches in Texas and Louisiana. Al was a lifetime Vice President of the Houston Live s tock Show and Rodeo and past Chairman of the HLSR International Committee.  He was also active for many years with the Santa Gertrudis Breeders Association. He was a deacon at Thompson Community Church and later a member of Cypress United Methodist Church .  Albert was also proud to have served as a Cypress Fairbanks ISD School Board Member.  An avid deer hunter, Al spent many happy days in the South Texas brush country of Frio County.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents Phelix Todd Furnace, Opal Booth Furnace and wife Pauline Plaster Furnace . He is survived by children Russell "Rusty" Furnace (Kathryn), Susan McCourt (Mark), Donna Soape (Roger), Lori Loobeek (Ron); grandchildren Justin Furnace, Russell Furnace, Sierra Frels, Britt Price, Kate Waters, Cody Loobeek, Jenny Bathauer, Bonnie Black, and numerous great grandchildren. Albert is also survived by his sisters, Carol Furnace Judge and Sally Furnace Womack and their families , as well as Pauline's remaining family members.

Al also leaves his loving companion Gayle Jenkins whom he met while residing at Heritage Assisted Living Tomball where they enjoyed many activities and became a favorite couple of the staff there.

Family will greet visitors on November 11, 2022, from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, at Klein Funeral Home Tomball, 1400 West Main Street , Tomball, Texas .  A private interment is planned for a later date.
