Alan Jeffery Veteto, 63, passed away on March 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, connection, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

Born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Alan spent his early years living abroad in Germany and Sweden before eventually settling in Houston, Texas, where he would build a life rooted in family, friendships, and meaningful work. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, a foundation that led to a successful career in sales and sales management in the industrial valve industry.

Alan was a man who truly loved people. Known for his welcoming spirit and caring demeanor, he had a remarkable ability to connect with others – whether lifelong friends or strangers he had just met. His smile, optimism, and enthusiasm for life left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and at ease.

Above all else, Alan cherished his family. He was a loving husband, devoted and caring father, and an adoring granddad. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. Whether he was sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply enjoying being together, those moments meant everything to him.

Alan also had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, passions that brought him both peace and connection – often shared with those closest to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Hazel Veteto; his children, Austin and Hollan Veteto, Grant Veteto, and Callum Summers; and his grandchildren, Brooks Veteto and Jax Veteto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery Veteto and Marylin Veteto.

Alan will be remembered as a loyal friend, a steady presence, and someone who was always prepared – ready to help, to listen, and to show up when it mattered most. His life was a testament to kindness, connection, and love.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
