Alan Eugene Cain left this life on Sunday, November 17, 2019. He was born in Erie, PA, on July 22, 1938. He was preceded in death by his father and mother "Maurice" and Alma Cain. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Gloria, his brother Charles Cain and wife Caroline, and sister Joy Clemensen.
He will be remembered by his children Rebecca Dies and husband Shannon, Michael Eugene Cain and wife Kristina, step-children Debbie Kvinge and husband Nathan, Chris Wensel and wife Miranda, Brian Wensel and wife Dawn. Grandchildren Mackenzie Cain, Adam Cain, Landon McNaspy and wife Amy, Shaston McNaspy and wife Jessica, step-grandchildren Abby Kvinge, Grace Kvinge, Viola Wensel, Cass Wensel, David Dies and spouse, Chris Dies and spouse and Matthew Dies. Great-grandchildren "Remy" Dies, Carson McNaspy, Becca McNaspy, Beau McNaspy and Faelynn McNaspy.
Alan served in the U.S. Navy, was employed by Continental Airlines for 41 years, much of that time as lead mechanic, until his retirement in 2000. He was a faithful member of Spring Baptist Church.
He loved working in his yard and spent several years restoring an antique tractor. Alan and Gloria enjoyed hosting countless pool parties for their families and grandchildren. They also embarked on several RV trips across the U.S. and Canada.
