Obituary

Aileen was born March 5, 1933, in Westfield, Texas to Carl and Meta Theiss.

Aileen enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was an accomplished artist, doing oil paintings of bluebonnets, trees and still life. Her love of art led her to bake and decorate beautiful wedding and birthday cakes for family and friends. She did this until her eyesight was gone. Then she sang her favorite church hymns from memory getting the music and lyrics correct.

She is survived by sister Marilyn Kron and husband Paul; Nephew Robert Williams; Great Nephew Jacob Williams and Fiancée Erin Skinner; Stepdaughter Barbara Mercer and Son in Law Jack Burnet; Step-Grand-Children Kinzy, Kewley and husband Glenn, Kendra Cowan and husband Michael Cowan; Step-Great-Grand Children Declan, Kewley, Olin and Silas Cowan.
