Adrian Fletcher Fincher "Captain Butch," 58, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer surrounded by his loved ones on May 11, 2024. He was born on August 11, 1965, in Houston Texas to Freddie Lee Fincher and Pearl Lilley Fincher. He had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ so we know he is fully healed in Heaven.

Being the eighth of nine kids meant Butch had to be resourceful. After graduating from Klein High School, he worked in the family automotive business. Boats and fishing were always his first love. He was proud of the many Billfish tournaments he fished in and framed an article he wrote when he owned Best Marine Sales. Butch was happiest when he was on the water. One of his proudest moments was when he got his Merchant Mariner Credential to be a boat captain. An expert angler, he spent his later years showing people how to land the big ones with his co-captain and partner in life and love Rachael Asher. He could fix anything mechanical. It started with rebuilding cars when he was a teen to rebuilding boats as he got older. He was the best boat mechanic in town. Butch was always happy and everyone that knew him loved him. He was loyal, had a huge heart, and would do anything for anyone, which is why he was always the favorite son, brother, and friend.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Pearl Fincher, sister Teresa Spicer, brother Andy Fincher, brother-in-law Mickey Powell and great niece Berk. Butch is survived by the love of his life Rachael Asher; sons Adrian Robert "Bobby" Fincher and Matthew "Tanner" Fincher; bonus kids AJ Herrick and Cheyenne Perry; granddaughter Laila Eve Fincher; brothers Jay (Mary) Fincher, Donald (Debbie) Fincher, Roger (Jackie) Hess, and John Fincher; sisters Vicki (Red) Brown and Patricia (Sam) Harless; sister-in-law Dixie Fincher and Jackie Powell; 34 nieces and nephews plus spouses; 56 plus great nieces and nephews; and not by birth brother Ron Tooker. A special thanks to good friend Dr. Lance Feray.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 16t, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at Klein Funeral Home 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 17th, 2024 at 2 pm at Klein Funeral Home 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring.  The Burial Service will follow for family and close friends.
