With hearts broken, we announce that Adam Paul Townsell, "Adam Ant", age 26, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed suddenly and peaceful in his sleep on Monday, May 17, 2021. Those who knew Adam, even just a little, lost a shining light in their eyes this day.

Adam will be lovingly remembered everyday by his Mother, Stacey McNeely; his Father and Stepmother, Paul and Kristin Townsell, his maternal Grandmother, Sandra Alm; his Sister and Spouse, Jareka and Jake Anderson, and their children Harlyn and Audrey; his Brothers and Spouses, Nick and Cara Townsell, and their son Cooper; Zach and Bella Townsell; Austin and Desiree Harvie, and their children Grace and Ada. He will be dearly missed by his loving Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Cousins and many, many great friends.

We know Adam is now flying high with his Grandparents, Kenneth Theriot and Donald and Patricia Townsell; his Uncle, La Monte Theriot for a long overdue reunion.

Adam loved living life in the fast lane, literally. His passion for fast cars, cooking, animals, fishing, fish tanks and anything else related to marine life brought him absolute joy. He was so proud of his recent purchase of his first fast car, 'another Mustang of course!' He would often just go to the garage and start the engine, rev it up, and walk back in with the biggest, most perfect smile! Often sharing his car with a friend on FaceTime.

There are not enough words to describe the force of nature our Adam is. The dash between those two dates is small, but it holds so much love, memories, and countless stories. He was a free spirit who lived in the present and on his own terms. Ant will be forever remembered for his beautiful smile, gentle blue eyes, caring heart, contagious laugh, and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.

As a final tribute to our precious Adam, start your car, turn your radio up loud and 'rev your engine' – he would love that!

A celebration of life will be held in Adam's honor at 2:00 pm, on May 28, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home – Cypress.
