Abisay (Aby) Ugalde, Age 17 joined his heavenly Father on Saturday, September 23, 2023, under the care of the amazing staff at Texas Children's Hospital. Aby was born on February 9, 2006 in Houston, Texas. Since birth brought so much joy to many lives.

Aby was a beloved son of Flor Salas and a loved younger brother to Joselyn Ugalde. Although he had a difficult childhood, Aby was loved by all who met him. He always had a sweet disposition but would also let you know if he didn't like what you were doing. Aby will be missed terribly by Bill Sumner, who was his guardian for the last 5 years of his life. His Caregivers Tori, Stell and Norma were such a blessing to Aby and the family over the last three years.

Aby is survived by his mother Flor Salas, sister, Joselyn Ugalde, father, Ivan Ugalde, grandparents Francis Coronado, Julio Murguía, and Norberto Sanjuanero, great-grandmother Antonia Valdez, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
