Abel A. Garcia, age 54 of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2020. He was born October 11, 1965 in Houston, Texas to Abel H. Garcia and Diva Garza Houlette. He grew up in Houston and went to Westfield High School and graduated from the University of Houston.
He has two grown children and two adorable granddaughters he loved very much. Michael Garcia married to Patricia Garcia and their daughter Amelia. Monica Garcia and her daughter Nevaeh.
Abel married his second wife Cindy Garcia, in 2013. They enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and their two dogs, Jeffery and Millie. They attended Salem Lutheran church and found joy in teaching Sunday School to little ones. He had several careers and enjoyed working for UPS and Fed Ex. He recently was working for the Home Team Pest Defense Company and was top salesmen for May and June 2020. He especially loved working with great team members & management.
He was one of the friendliest people you ever did meet. He had a great smile and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. In his spare time, he loved to go fishing, grilling and watching car racing. Abel loved life and all that each day brought. Finding simplicity in everything was a great joy to him. He had two siblings that loved him very much, Gracie Dastmalchian and Marco Garcia and several nieces and nephews as well as his in laws and step father Bud Houlette. He was preceded in death by father Abel H. Garcia and first wife Dorothy "Amber" Garcia.

Abel unfortunately lost a short battle with liver cancer. In honor of his memory donations may be made to The American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
